GENERAL GUIDELINES
Inkspill Magazine publishes a wide range of content. To get a feel for the magazine, we suggest you read a few issues.

All work submitted must be your own, original creation. It must be previously unpublished (posting work on your own blog or website is considered 'published').

Please include a short (less than 30 words) bio with your submission for publication if your work is accepted.

SUBMISSIONS PROCESS
All stories must be submitted through our online form. We no longer accept work via email.

MULTIPLE SUBMISSIONS
Send one story.
Send one article.
Send up to three poems.
Send up to five pieces of artwork.

Once you hear a response from us, you are free to submit again. You can submit to multiple parts of the magazine as long as you follow these guides.

SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSIONS
If you send your story to another magazine as well as Inkspill Magazine, please say so in your cover letter. If another magazine accepts it before you hear from us, please let us know and accept our congratulations.

RESPONSE TIME
For articles and art: up to 6 weeks.
For stories and poetry: up to 12 weeks.
We will do our best to get back to you as soon as we can. Feel free to query after these time periods. (Contact hello@inkspillmagazine.com for queries - do NOT send submissions to this address.)

COMPENSATION
For each issue, one contributor (stories/poetry) will receive the 'Editor's Choice' award, for which we pay £10. We also now pay £10 per feature article and writing analysis accepted for publication.

All contributors will have the opportunity to publish a short biography along side their piece, including any promotional website addresses.

TERMS AND AGREEMENTS
We ask for first world electronic rights, with the permission to archive the work indefinitely via the downloadable e-version of the magazine. We do not want previously published work. If Inkspill Magazine closes down, all rights revert back to the author. All copyright remains with the author.

YOU MUST SUBMIT YOUR OWN WORK. By submitting to Inkspill Magazine you are declaring that the work is your own, and that if any legal copyright issues arise, YOU WILL TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY.
